IT’S TIME TO STEP UP – like you never have before – and TAKE ACTION!… This post is meant for you today!
So let’s get cracking on some action steps…
1. Get honest with yourself about why you’re avoiding or making excuses. You can come up with all kinds of CRAZY STUFF TO JUSTIFY WHAT YOU’RE DOING… But it’s not going to make you feel any better and it’s not going to fix the situation you’re in either.
2. Be accountable for your actions…
There’s always a deeper real reason why you’re choosing to run away, and ignore or pretend that the situation doesn’t exist.
You can either make it harder on yourself, stressing yourself out… OR JUST PULL UP YOUR BIG GIRL PANTS AND OWN UP TO IT.
3. If the commitment is to yourself, or a coach, an amazing opportunity, a trainer, a family member – ESPECIALLY IF IT’S SOMETHING THAT YOU KNOW CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE …
What are you waiting for?… Make it happen. Stop wasting time!
If the commitment is to yourself, then get moving ASAP on figuring out how you’re going to get productive about it, make a plan and start!
If it’s with yourself AND a coach or trainer, or opportunity, a family member…
Don’t run away from it!
The majority of people are CONSIDERATE and “GET” WHERE YOU’RE COMING FROM… If you simply tell them where you’re stuck, what you’re concerns are, where you’re at, they can HELP YOU OR BRAINSTORM WITH YOU, so you can rock it!
If you squander energy avoiding them, literally crapping yourself, OVER-EXAGGERATING the whole situation in your head, and being riddled with guilt and worry… then you need to STOP that right now!
Reach out and sort it out pronto!
4. VALUE YOURSELF AND OTHER PEOPLE’S TIME.
I’m all for putting yourself first and taking care of yourself…
But doing that while screwing someone over, because you’ve been fearful about a commitment, IS A SUCKY WAY TO LIVE.
More than often, because people are living in the BELIEF that all those excuses are real, and that it makes their negative action “OK” or acceptable…
They can’t see the BRIDGES THEY’RE BURNING FOR THEMSELVES and how much their messing others about. Even if they can, they’ve got an excuse for it.
YOUR LIFE WILL BE SO MUCH FREE-ER, FUN, WOOHOO!… PRODUCTIVE, EXCITING, INSPIRING if you just get it sorted… and truly VALUE YOUR OWN CAPABILITY to achieving amazing things in your life.
5. Make a list of all the things you’ve kicked ass at over your life time…
The incredible things you have achieved. REMIND YOURSELF OF YOUR OWN WORTH!
Deep down you know you can do this, whatever it is that you really want to accomplish. It’s time to LET GO of the BS…
6. Create a KICK-START TO-DO ROUTINE that you do every morning and evening to ensure you wake up in the best frame of mind possible.
Get fired up, REALLY FIRED UP… About what you want.
I’m talking TUMMY CHURNING excitement… you can’t wait to get started on your day.
By doing this you can turn things around really quickly for yourself.
7. And last point here… BE CONSISTENT!
Trying something once and then quitting… eg one workout, one promotion, or one attempt at something, doesn’t mean it’s not going to work.
How can it work, if you don’t allow it too?
JUMP IN, give it 100% effort and you’ll see for yourself EXACTLY how much you can achieve in a shorter amount of time than you figured was possible.
