Why I do things differently, with soul… And a mind-blowing challenge and reward for YOU!
One of the big reasons I started online back in 1999… Yes 1999!…
With my free Tripod.com website, Bravenet.com Website tools, Mals e-commerce… I was a full time Personal Fitness Trainer, while studying university extension courses in html programming, cgi programming, graphic design – you name it…
I was on a mission to create the most mind blowing Online Personal Fitness Training 1;1 Coaching that people could get their hands on at that time. Designing clients programs from scratch.
It took me around 12 months to build my own website…
- I created animated photos of me performing exercises (NO VIDEOS ONLINE BACK THEN like there is now) – photos taken of me with a film camera then scanned into the computer then edited into a graphics editor.
- I created 1000’s of pages of content for my clients within the clients area
- Buying my own domain (Domain names back then were around $400)
- Organising webhosting with enough grunt to run 50 websites LOL… (I was playing big cost me a fortune, but I was not backing down)
- Writing content to be published on other websites
- Writing for newspaper columns in WA
- Guest interviews in aussie technology magazines for my efforts to bring fitness online in Australia
- Designing interactive forms for my clients to use, and anything else that I could think of to make their experience rock!
- I even designed online fitness tools for other PT’s to use and host on their websites (some of them can still be found online)… Which took off really well as U.S. PT’s started jumping online.
- Invested in Marketing Courses, Business Coarses, Email Marketing, Back then you could “guest” post as an expert in Forums. Or pay to be featured. The internet was covered with my articles… I swamped the market place. 🙂 LOL
It was such a different time then…
People laughed at me “offline”, the bank laughed at me…
My Personal Trainer colleagues said I was a nerd, I was stupid, that nobody would ever want to do PT online.
Honestly, I didn’t care… It was my dream and mission…
I wanted to reach out and help people in country areas… Not just in the cities…
I wanted to help people all over the world who had access to the internet! With their 56k dial up modems.
People who lived in towns 600, 800, 1000km’s from the closest city. Because I was from the country… I knew what it meant to have access to fitness services like that. Especially back then.
I had such a different approach to PT, and made beautiful connections with my clients and bought them amazing results.
It was very much “thinking outside of the box”… But I knew I had to keep at this… That people out there needed my unique way helping transform their lives.
Way back then I had clients in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia (and other countries)… People that I knew offline, couldn’t understand how I made it work.
I would try and explain it…
Their response was like…
“oh yeah and you’re telling me you can make someone lose weight, get into shape, just by typing on the keyboard and not doing anything else”
and
“that’s the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard, the internet is just a fad, no one will want to do PT online!”
My passion, my mission, outweighed my fear… And outweighed other’s BS and fear too.
Yes, I had plenty of challenges, being an Entrepreneur is a roller coaster – doing things that others are too afraid to do.
I’ve learned some hard lessons, beautiful lessons, the best lessons of my life.
Soared to amazing heights, huge successes… Feel blessed for it. The miracles that came from that were amazing.
And along the way mentored, coached and spent many years helping other Entrepreneurs succeed online with their businesses and transforming their bodies.
I didn’t even understand my true gift and talents…
I would give out ground breaking amazing advice and support to Entrepreneurs and they would massively succeed, way beyond my own achievements. Both financially, success, mindset and physically (their fat loss and lean muscle)
It was always them saying to me, “holy crap, Mandy, this rises above any coaching I’ve received from my high end coaches”…
I still remember thinking “Oh that’s lovely”… But didn’t really understand the true value of my own brilliance and gifts.
I had become so focused on helping everyone else, I’d put myself on the back burner.
All while spending hours each day “offline” for nearly 10 years leading a community of over 30,000 people, to help fight a “David and Goliath” environmental issue in our suburb that was pumping out noxious emissions… Story for another day.
And what it really came down to was mindset, self love and self belief that turned things around for me.
To wake myself the hell up and realise what I was bringing to the table.
To allow ease and flow.
So funny to think back now… that for so many years I was always a Business and Body Transformation Coach, but didn’t realise it at the time.
For years I denied myself the title of Business Coach… Because I was afraid of it. Even though I rocked at it.
It was so freaking awesome when I did finally wake up and own it!
Once I started to own it, then my own success accelerated, I’m talking multiplying everything money, success, impact, giving back by 10!
It changed things for me in a huge way… And I’ve continued to blow myself away. It’s an amazing feeling, I’m so freaking grateful…
For years, I never really put myself right out there…
I never truly needed too… Or so I thought…
Because my referrals came from “word of mouth”…
Due to the outcomes and results I bought to my clients.
What I learnt was that I needed to step up even further, way more, while being alignment with me, my gifts, what I’m passionate about on a deep soul level… And not being afraid of that.
I adore my clients…
I ABSOLUTELY ROCK AT WHAT I DO!
And I know that YOU DO TOO!
So I want to challenge you BIG TIME today…
Don’t for one minute, doubt yourself…
Don’t for one minute, feel like you can’t follow your dreams

I get annoyed when I hear gurus say…
People in country towns, people that are in cities that are not near the usual “event” locations… Don’t care enough, that’s why they don’t step up and travel…
That they’re lazy, that they don’t have money, they’re not entrepreneurial…
Blah blah blah… I’M CALLING BULL SHIT ON THAT! BIG TIME!
THAT STIGMA ANNOYS THE CRAP OUT OF ME…
That’s just them judging, making assumptions.
So I’m making it easy for you… A no brainer!
And to create a movement of mindblowing successful, change makers, that lead with their heart soul… Taking this Australia wide.
