Smith Machine Assisted Wide Grip Pull Ups
Grasp the bar using a wide overhand grip. Place your feet on a sturdy chair or use the frame on the smith machine.
Have your arms outstretched and carefully allow your body to hang from the bar. Keeping your midsection firm, pull yourself up to the bar so that your chin is over the bar.
Then lower yourself down again and repeat.
Don’t use your legs to push yourself up. Your legs are only on the frame or chair for support.
- Also when using the smith machine make sure the bar is latched securely onto the catch. And the safety latch is also in place. It’s vital that you have both secured.
