Is perfectionism stopping you from having the body you want?
Sounds kinda ridiculous right?
You would think wanting to be perfect would be a driving force behind having the body of your dreams.
For some, maybe that does work, but for most us wanting and waiting for everything to be perfect can backfire on us big time.
“I don’t have the right clothes”
“I’ll look stupid exercising in front of people”
“I have no idea what to do, what if I don’t do things right”
“The timing isn’t right”
“What if I can’t get my eating right?”
“I don’t know, maybe it’s too much of a risk to figure out what the best workout is”
“What if I mess up?”
“I need to wait until I’m in the right head-space before I start on my fat loss efforts”
The list goes on…
What the hell are we doing to ourselves?
Convincing ourselves that it’s ok to put off our dreams of having something that we know is super important to us, something that could completely change our quality of life. All because things aren’t perfect enough.
Feeling like we’re not perfect enough to make it happen.
We look around and see fit bodies that we want to have as our own.
We get scared off by motivational pictures and quotes and even trainers that make us feel like if we’re not doing everything 200% right all the time that it will all fall to pieces.
That’s not true!
It won’t fall to pieces!
Is having a lean defined body really within your reach?
YES!
I train completely at home, I don’t go to the gym. I have what I need right here. And I don’t even make the most of the stuff I have at home.
I use what I need, that’s it.
I don’t train in amazing clothes. Heck, there’s been times when I’ve trained in my PJ’s… just so I would get it done. I’ve trained in bare feet because I was in a hurry.
I don’t wear makeup when I’m training.
If I’m outdoors training, I don’t wear makeup either and don’t have my hair done beautifully.
It’s just me, as is.
My eating isn’t perfect, I go with making it great most of the time, but I’m not going to freak out if there’s times when it’s not as great. And I still get results. And so can you.
We all have busy lives, we do the best we can to make our exercise and eating count.
Yes, you will need to learn what to do. But just like anything it can be learnt, and learnt quickly.
It doesn’t have to be difficult or over-complicated… I’m just like everyone else in that I find myself at times over complicating things…
I have to take a step back and think “what am I doing, I’ve just made this way harder than it needs to be”… and then I simplify it.
You don’t have to wait until you’ve got a spare $2000+ per month to have a Personal Fitness Trainer train you every day.
And let’s face it, if your trainer is just a “rep counter”, is spending all their time checking themselves out in the mirror and isn’t focused on helping you with the “how to’s” and what you need to do take you to that next level with your fat loss, then you’re probably wasting your money anyway.
I can tell you now, for my high end clients $2000+ p/m gets them awesome, mind blowing, amazing coaching from me.
You don’t have to wait for that “perfect time or for you to be perfect”.
There is never a perfect time, but there is always a right time.
No matter what you’re going through, no matter what your fears, the right time can be anytime.
It’s just there ready for you to grab hold of.
Any day, time, week, month, now…
If you’re ready to let go of the “perfectionism” and just get in there and make it happen…
If this offers you a sense of relief that you don’t have to be Ms Perfect… That’s it’s ok to do this, while still being you…
If you feel inspired, know this is something you really want to do for you, for your quality of life, for your confidence and well being, and just to simply feel and look “hot”… by that I mean a “hot” version of you, not someone else…
Then why not make today the right time to do something awesome for you.
Warm regards and hugs…
