Top of the Forearm Stretch

Top of the Forearm Stretch

This stretch is for the top side of your forearm and it involves using one hand/arm to stretch the other forearm. If you want to stretch your right forearm, place the top of your right hand (from your largest knuckles to just below your wrist), in the palm of your left hand.

Then let your arms down and extend them till they are almost completely straight. Your hands should be close to your waist. Performing the actual stretch involves relaxing the hand of the forearm you are stretching and pulling that hand towards you (bending it down) with your other hand.

You can increase the intensity of the stretch by tensing the arm (not hand) you are stretching and slightly straightening your arm (avoid locking your elbow). Doing this does put more stress on your wrist, so only add this if it doesn’t cause any discomfort.
