This time last week I was at Brisbane airport (on the other side of Australia) excited, emotional and couldn’t wait to give our new adopted furry boy, Mayson, a cuddle.

I need to be careful here about Mayson’s past, but let’s just say that poor Mayson for most of his 10 years had a life that you wouldn’t wish on any furry baby.
I have had days when I look into his eyes and wish I could take back those awful years from him (that he experienced before Labrador Rescue saved him) and replace them with the love and care that he is now receiving from us.
How ever many years he has left on this earth, we’re going to make his life absolutely awesome for him. And we’ve already started.
He’s so gentle, grateful, appreciative… and even after everything he’s been through he still loves to have fun and play.

As much as introducing a new doggy into your home can be time consuming, it’s so rewarding.. we have so much love to give to Louie and Mayson.
I know, I know, I’m gushing… luv these boys.
On the topic of “time”…
You’re probably wondering how on earth I am still able to fit everything in (including my Get out of / get back into Shape experiment) along with our adopting Mayson.
I’m far from perfect, when I see the opportunity to do my workout I simply go for it. And I make healthier choices with my nutrition.

There’s no point freaking yourself out if things get a little crazy.

Don’t be a quitter…
Don’t quit on yourself… Because you deserve better. Much better.
Choose to make it work, choose not to abandon your efforts when you know they are so important to you.
We all have 24 hours in every day, what you choose to do in that time is entirely up to you. So make it count.
- Use time efficient specific workouts and effective nutrition that will save you time and bring you the best results possible.
- Work on your mindset and stop procrastinating and overthinking things.
