Now before you go thinking this is some weird post on heaven knows what… and it’s not :-), I promise! I want you to read this in full …
One of the excuses I often hear from subscribers is “I don’t have the right clothing to start getting into shape”.
If this is the excuse you’re using for not having a knock-out body, then you need to “just get over it”.
Here’s why…
I’ll share this real life, “you better believe it” :-), story of mine with you, just to prove a point.
I train at home. I don’t go to any fancy gyms.
I train in my “grundies”. I don’t get togged up, I wear old t-shirts, old shorts, old tank tops, old tracky dacks and I don’t wear makeup.
I have no issue at all with anyone who does wear flash gym gear. It’s just a personal preference for me. I’m exercising, I’m going to sweat, I want to get in and get my training done efficiently, so I don’t see the point in it when I’m going to have a shower directly afterwards anyway.
Some of my tracky pants that I train in have got kinda baggy around the butt region. Y’know what I mean, they look like I’ve just climbed out of water with my tracky pants on, and the base of the butt dragging down on them.
Due to my lower body being a heck of a lot longer than my upper body, my trackies are often a little bigger in general anyway so they cover my ankles.
Recently my hubby wandered past me while I was training and cracked up laughing, saying “there she goes again training in her “pooped herself tracky pants”. I laughed my head off. In other words, the tracky pants were super daggy.
And it made me think to myself…
How often I had heard the excuse from others that they felt super self-conscious about their clothing and how much it prevented them, not just from training, but their efforts to achieve their dream bodies.
The majority of my online personal fitness training clients train at home. I’ve told them, don’t stress about what they look like (whether it’s the gym or home), just get in there and train. Don’t make your clothes the deciding factor and reason to not get into the best shape of your life.
Lets face it, when you’re in shape, you know that under those grundies you’re rockin a toned sexy body.
Getting into shape isn’t about being perfect, and it’s not about “all or nothing”. It’s about taking control and saying “I’m ready today, right now!” And knowing you totally have the ability to create the body that you want. And taking action to do that.
Listen, if you’re ready to take the next step, want to start taking action today and have been putting it off… then go here to get started asap!
And “yes” you can train in your grundies! 🙂
With love and hugs…
