Mandy’s Protein and Oat Treats

September 2, 2012 By Mandy Gibbons

Ingredients

2 cups of plain flour – I go with gluten free
2 cups of rolled oats
Three quarters of a cup of organic sultanas
Just over half a cup of chopped almonds
3 heaped scoops of pea protein powder – vanilla
3 tablespoons of Olive Oil
2 teaspoons Bi-carb soda
2 tablespoons Organic Raw Blue Agave
1 tablespoons honey (because my hubby asked for some honey in it)
Warm Water

Method

Preheat oven to 160 C. Mix everything into a bowl. I then gradually poured in the water until it was combined and I could roll the mixture into small balls. I placed the balls of mixture onto a tray lined with baking paper. Then used a spoon to flatten them. I baked them in the oven for 10 mins. This made heaps of “treats”. 3 baking trays and they nearly filled a 3 litre container.
